Gaurav Ahuja
Managing Director
An IIT -IIM graduate with interests as diverse as mountaineering and event management after having worked with the Global Markets Group at Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore co- founded Red Ginger Hospitality India Ltd along with his spouse Neha Ahuja in 2007. He left his cushy job to do something he was passionate about- having a Restaurant of his own. Organised Retail had just started to grow in India in 2007 and Gaurav could clearly sense the huge opportunity that it posed as there was no national restaurant brand in India.
Gaurav is a prominent and regular speaker at India Retail Forum, Asia Retail Congress, India Shopping Center Forum, Franchising Expos and serves as an Advisory Board member of the Asia Retail Congress. Known for his participative style of leadership, his story has been covered as one of the 25 stories of IIML Entrepreneurs in the book “The Fresh Brew-Chronicles of Freedom”, which is now a bestseller on www.amazon.com
Gaurav has built a strong and focussed senior management team at Red Ginger, which is driving growth and ensuring consistency in customer delight.
Neha Ahuja
Director - Aviation Hospitality
Neha completed her schooling from Mt. Hermon School Darjeeling and then did her graduation in Economics (H) from the prestigious Fergusson College, Pune. She finished her MBA from Cummins, Pune and thereafter joined the Human Resources Division at V Customer India Limited, New Delhi. She left her cushy job to live her dream- to start a restaurant of her own.
Over the past few years Neha was focused on the expansion of the food court business in leading malls in India. In 2017, she shifted her focus on travel retail which primarily meant expanding business across Airports, Train stations etc. Under her able leadership, her company works with leading International Airlines like Indigo, Air Asia, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Spicejet and Vistara and serves quality meals to the Airline guests.
Under her able leadership, Red Ginger’s flagship brand “Mad About China” won the “Images Coca Cola Golden Spoon Award for the most admired quick service restaurant chain of India”. Red Ginger Hospitality also received the award for India’s fastest growing QSR Chain by CNBC TV18. Red Ginger has also recently received the National Restaurant Award for the “Best QSR Chain of India”.
